I'm a designer-leader with over 18 years of experience driving automotive and product innovation in both B2C and B2B spheres. I’ve been awarded for design achievement and invention patent. With proven expertise developing market-ready products with cross-functional stakeholders, I've assembled and led creative groups to drive value generation via design-centric activities.

My career began at Chrysler where I was fortunate to have led and supported multiple programs, both interior and exterior, concept and production (see giving form to technology in the case studies section). That chapter culminated with an award and patents filed for a showcar interior, and my work on display in at least two production units.

​

Tyonek Design brought new opportunities such including consumer research for JCI, support for 3 John Deere programs (see production style in the case studies section), a bit of interaction design, and design of a nascent technology at Lacks Enterprises (see engineering appearances in the case studies section).

As Design Director of Lacks, my purview included high-level commercial insights which ignited the growth of my team and paved the way for the creation of new services. I'm proud to report that nearly zero Sales efforts launched without our support.

​

Tessera® technology drew hundreds of millions in sales just a few years after launch, more than a 500x return and counting. My team worked with the R&D to refine Chromtec® technology (see design for designers in the case studies section) resulting in a lighter product with greater design potential. We also curated the outward appearance of Luminelle™ lighting technology and provided most major visual marketing material, with the first product due in 2027.
